Youth Soccer

YMCA Soccer is offered in the spring for preschoolers through 6th grade and is designed to be a non-contact, exciting opportunity for your child to learn the fundamentals of soccer. Our rules ensure a safe, fun experience for your child.
Children/Youth are placed on teams according to school or surrounding areas. Youth in Grades Kindergarten through Grade 2 play modified, instructional game with coaching referees. Youth in grades 3-6 play regular rules with some modification.
The program runs for 6 weeks with a total of 6 games.
This program is dependent on volunteer parents as coaches! Please contact the Sr. Program Director if you are interested in volunteering. All athletes receive YMCA Youth League shirts and certificates.

YMCA Overnighters
Plan now for a night out with your friends! We provide an opportunity for Kindergarten through 6th grade children to come to the YMCA for a night away from home. Our adventure will include fun games, use of the tumble track, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, a tasty snack, watching a cool movie, sleeping and a satisfying breakfast. Parents will check-in children Friday night between 7:30 – 8:00 PM and pick them up the following morning at 8:00 AM. Please eat an evening meal before arriving Friday night.

Youth Basketball Instruction Grades 1-9
Offered Winter I & Winter II
Boys and girls learn the fun of playing basketball the right way! Everybody plays, everybody wins in the YMCA Youth Basketball. Court size, ball size and rules are adjusted to allow each child the opportunity to enjoy the game the YMCA invented. All basketball classes are held on Saturday.

Youth Basketball League 2010 (form)
The YMCA is hosting a competitive basketball league for boy’s and girl’s who wish to play in a league with other select teams. These teams can consist of children from Kindergarten – 8th grade with leagues broken up by grade. Teams are required to have matching shirts with a number. By signing up as teams, the YMCA can assist in building stronger teams who may wish to participate in upcoming tournaments or the Show-Me games.
Games will be held at the Tri-County YMCA on Saturdays from 12:00 – 6:00 PM and will run for 6 weeks.

Tae Kwon Do
Learn martial arts from an instructor that has 16 years of Tae Kwon Do experience. Tae Kwon Do is a modern martial art from Korea that is characterized by its fast, high and spinning kicks. Not only does Tae Kwon Do help you to become fit in a relatively short amount of time, but it teaches discipline that can be applied throughout a lifetime.
