Bitty Ball Soccer

Children ages 3-5 years old will learn basic skills for the game of soccer including dribbling, passing, shooting, understanding positions on the soccer field plus basic rules for the game including side-outs, off-sides, etc. This will help you prepare your child to play in the Lake Area community soccer leagues. Classes will be 45 minutes two times per week for 6 weeks. Scrimmages will be held at the end of each class session (Offered Spring l Session only).
Your child will need soccer shoes or tennis shoes and shin guards.
Parents: We need volunteers! If you are interested in helping your Tri- County YMCA with the program, or other programs or special events, please contact your Y office at 348-9230.

Youth Soccer

Offered March 22 - April 26th YMCA Soccer is offered in the spring for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and is designed to be a non-contact, exciting opportunity for your child to learn the fundamentals of soccer. Our rules ensure a safe, fun experience for your child.
Children/Youth are placed on teams according to school or surrounding areas. Youth in Grades Kindergarten through Grade 2 play modified, instructional game with coaching referees. Youth in grades 3-6 play regular rules with some modification.
The program runs for 6 weeks with a total of 6 games.
This program is dependent on volunteer parents as coaches! Please contact the Sr. Program Director if you are interested in volunteering. All athletes receive YMCA Youth League shirts and certificates.

Girls' Powder Puff Football

The YMCA will have a new sports program this spring. This will be for girls in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades and will be formed by schools. This program will follow the rules as played in the regular YMCA Flag Football program and is sure to be a lot of FUN!

YMCA Overnighters

Plan now for a night out with your friends! We provide an opportunity for Kindergarten through 6th grade children to come to the YMCA for a night away from home. Our adventure will include fun games, use of the tumble track, XBox, XBox 360, a tasty snack, watching a cool movie, sleeping and a satisfying breakfast. Parents will check-in children Friday night between 8:30 – 9:00 PM and pick them up the following morning at 8:00 AM. Please eat an evening meal before arriving Friday night.

Youth Basketball Grades 1-9

Offered during Fall I, Winter I & Winter II Sessions
Boys and girls learn the fun of playing basketball the right way! Everybody plays, everybody wins in the YMCA Youth Basketball. Court size, ball size and rules are adjusted to allow each child the opportunity to enjoy the game the YMCA invented. All basketball classes are held on Saturday.
